Front Line Citizen's Round Table in Spencer on February 28th

Front Line Citizen’s Round Table
Saturday, February 28th at 10am in Spencer

The Van Etten Town Listening project invites you to a free breakfast and participatory discussion session.

Our communities are facing some of the most drastic changes of a life time. With Marcellus Shale permitting expected to begin this summer, our communities are on the front line of a new unconventional gas drilling rush by multi-national energy corporations. How our community wins or loses will be determined by us alone. We’ve heard from industry and government experts. Let’s get together and talk with each other. This is not a lecture.

Let’s talk about:
- lnjection wells to store toxic frac liquids
- Where the water will come from
- Water contamination
- Traffic, taxes and property values
- Your concerns and ideas

Free coffee, juice, bagels, donuts and more!
RSVP by Feb 21st if you will need child care in order to attend
For more information, please call (607) 229-0230
