What: New Yorkers Say No to Fracking at the NY Fair
When: Thursday, August 23rd, 8am- 4pm
Where: NY State Fairgrounds- 581 State Fair Boulevard, Syracuse, NY- Meeting place will be sent to you when you sign up here
We don’t know quite when the governor will be there, but we’re hearing rumors that he will go as early as 8 AM, so if you’re able to come that early, please do! He also may go later, which is partly why we plan to be there all day, all the while handing out literature and growing the movement to ban fracking. Whenever you can come, we need you.

With perseverance and truth on our side we can win and we will win. The New York State Fair will mark the 4th time in just over a week that we show up at Governor Cuomo’s events to tell him to ban fracking. On Wednesday, 8/15, we demonstrated outside of his Yogurt Summit in Albany. On 8/20, we were there to meet him at a press conference in Westchester. On 8/22, hundreds will demonstrate at his policy summit in NYC. With your help we will build the pressure even more at the fair!
