Hector Clean Waters Initiative is a citizen group organized with the goal of communicating the dangers of hydrofracking to our community and to pressure our town board to make the decision to ban its practice.
The Town of Hector is facing the very real threat of high volume hydrofracking destroying our pristine water, air, and growing local economy. Our work is focused on educating Hector residents, landowners and government officials on the danger fracking poses to our way of life, and working to pass a ban on heavy industrial usage in order to protect our water, families, and health.
To continue to inform our community of the danger of hydrofracking until the town board has responded with a moratorium or ban of the practice. This effort will create a momentum for our community to remain engaged in efforts to address future threats to our quality of life and to collectively plan for the future of our community.
